Oh my goodness Ludger, wow that is amazing to have so many seedpods. I should have asked you how your HG pods are coming along...I hope they are still on the plant and growing.

Ludger I'm hoping there will be lots of seeds of the HG. What did you cross the HG with? HG has fabulous color but needs something to increase the number of blooms. I'll bet those ones will produce some great offspring!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

So your beautiful Avalon is the mother plant to how many crosses??

Gorgeous.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

How are you going to grow them all Ludger?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Its not a pure aurea, Ludger, you can tell by the shape of seed pods.

Ludger, put that strick away! *LOL* Even though avalon is not pure, Avalon is close to be a pure phenotypical aurea. Congrrats with the many pods *LOL* The fruits on Avalon is close to Dark Rosetta, but different from L`Amour. L`Amour is also kind of egg shaped, but round by the petiole and ending in a point at the other end. I saw Dark Rosetta looking pods on Hofwil also. I am not sure, how close they are to the same shape though. I need to check it out.

Monika, I look very much forward to compare my fruits to both Avalon and RK. If RK is the archtype of aurea fruits I will check all aurea types to RK in the future. :)
