First 'Butterfly' bloom for me (from a spring cutting) ..

I am fortunate that most all the brugs in spring as cuttings/rooted cuttings have bloomed for me.

Kell, when they first open they are lighter in color like this one. It will darken up.

Maybe some day I will know.....................

Alice mine looks just like this one..I was a little disappointed by the light color.Mine was a cutting in early spring..now only 4 feet tall and blooming.

Mine is turning darker now. Just like other pinks, I think it depends on climate, time of year, etc. for colour.

Does Butterfly stay open during the daytime?

Mine is now, but it is cool. Earlier this summer, it went limp like all the others.

'Butterfly' stayed open all day and is turning darker pink tonight.
