Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Thanks, Arlene, sure hope KYLE takes a look at it!!

Temple Goddess, according to Native Habitat, is a Kyle Courtney hybrid, EP X Peach Versicolor, a white with ruffled edges.

???? Does it look like it ????

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Gloria here's his TG http://davesgarden.com/t/300499/temple%20goddess

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Doesn't have those LONG tendrils! Does is smell at all Arlene?

Now, I am unhappy with LBJ again!! Sorry!!!

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Arlene, I have 'Temple Goddess' if you want. It has bloomed, so I know the real thing.
Or guess you could get from Kyle as he should have it. LOL

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Abutilon, thanks for offering, i have a couple of whites similar to TG though.

(Zone 6a)

Wondering if there is a true Rosa Traum in the USA:)

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

That's a good question.....

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Well guys ..It's NOT Temple Goddess..........don't know what it is..........isn't this fun..finding out we ALL have the wrong brugs!!!!!LOL

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

Arlene, if Stacey wants it let her have since she is just starting, otherwise I will bring it home with me. I don't care if there are some look alikes, I just love these brugs and happen to have the space for them. Hmmm, maybe I should start a foster home for brugs!!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Oh Dee.... I can fix you right up!!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

WEll, I guess I'm not going to worry about wintering mine over this year. White is nice, but I'd rather make room for more color. Glad you posted so we can see what we shouldn't have. :-)

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Brugie, i don't know if you can see the calyx, i did take a pic and they are huge. very green ribs. still waiting to see if this is like cala's. Dee, you're gonna have a pile to take home!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I wish Dee and WaterlooLily could make a trip up here. I could fill up their trucks with some big plants too. Of course, mine are in the ground and I don't dig up brugs.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Brugie, mostly mine are in the ground too, i have a few leaving in pots. Paul (hope i got that right) Stacey's FDH dug up C double white, and there were more but i felt guilty getting him to dig, then it turned out they filled up their truck anyway. 8-10 in the ground, a few in 7 gallon pots and a few seedlings in 3 gallons. i'll probably put seedlings in the wholes to try to get them to bloom before frost so i can see them bloom this year. think i'm gonna do the mound the dirt thing around maya, she has two stalks the same size, have a matched pair next year.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Thanks Kyle. It really wasn't fun, finding out what I was soo... happy to share, was NOT what it was labeled as. I feel BAD!

Gloria

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Gloria, do not feel bad, this has happened to all of us. we will find a real rosa traum!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

OH no - I just realized that last summer I sent one to Irish - before we couldn't do it anymore. Sorry Irish :~((
Now I feel really bad.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Liz, was the rosa traum you sent irish really Adora? might have to hit him up for cuttings!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

WOW! You mean we might have the REAL R. Traum in the USA???

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Well no~ I'm saying it came from ã nursery down there as Rosa Traum and went back down as Rosa Traum. Can I crawl under a rock now?
As far as I can see now it's Adora.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Liz, Adora would be great to have too, i was really hoping mine wowuld be Adora since it wasn't RT!!! knocking on irish's door......
hibisus, this is a really pretty flower, quite large, not much scent. just have to wean them out to make room for babies and seedlings.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Liz, you are way luckier than me!!!

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Thanks, Arlene, I feel a wee bit better, hope you can get "rid" of it!

Oh for anyone who might want it....it is beautiful white brug!!

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Hibiscus - this is one of the ones that I hacked up last year by mistake - it has branches - well, what can I say? They stick out like a really bad haircut. The branches are going to the shredder ~~

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Funny....bad hair day.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Arlene, we need to find Irish's house and beg him to start us some!!
