Mice like passiflora seeds

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I'd been blaming the missing seeds on the ants carrying them off. Well guess what ate my passiflora seeds? A mouse!! I thought I had them where it couldn't get to them, but guess the little stinker was determined. At least I have more coming along!!

I had some datura seeds drying on the shelf in the greenhouse and those little devils ate about half of them too. I would never have thought they would eat datura seeds. Hope they had a belly ache or worse.

Brugie, I wonder if they were so "high" they couldn't find home!!

Maybe they ran themselves to death, but not before they got to your place. :-)

They came here to get the passiflora seeds to calm down.

Thats what I think took my brug seeds last spring...after waiting all winter for them to rippen....

It's agrivating. (and I just remembered I left some capsularis seeds too close to the floor) Of course my cockatoo was guilty of eating the brug seeds, I was so afraid he would get sick.

I had a few brug seeds missing too when I went out today. Guess those mice are nuts. Fortunately they were not valuable seeds. Just the first pod that ripened. Dr. Suess X ?.
