Was this here yesterday?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Has anyone followed the link at the top of the page? How long has the word BRUGS in big red letters been there?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

if you're in the PBD, it's been there a bit. it's not on the forum

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

i just love that dave got brugmansia.com!!!!!!!!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

me too!!! I thought that was awesome. Dave, that is a very important url, don't lose it!!!

Great!!! :)
I was about to buy all the Brugmansia domains, when I bought brugmansia.dk. Now I am glad I didn`t :)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

well now Tonny we would have been happy if you had it too:)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I missed this - so anybody blindly searching Brugmansias.com gets the plant data base?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

yep:)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Then I guess we better get busy so that we dazzle them. Like our own brug open house. LOL

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I was looking for a picture the other day on the forum, and found this, isn't it neat. I hope everyone starts adding to this, it will help all us newbie's with indentifying. Are we still getting a information page? :)

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

i went to brugmansia.com from the net and got a page under construction, links to junk. no brugs.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I think it's capital B - Brugmansias.com

That's what I got too Arlene.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

and it's plural - Brugmansias.com

So everyone can read all of the posts now. You just can't post unless you are a member. Is this correct?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

no, only subscribed members can read more than the first post. if someone can read and recite the second post, they are subscribed. may just not be posting.

Oh no!!! ((((WAAAHHH!!!))))

Why would someone want brugmansia.com and it has nothing to do with brugmansias?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Must be the only way they can get people to come to their site. I've had this happen before with a couple of things and it is really irritating.

Tig, when I went there I could read all the posts and I did not log in. It said that I needed to log in to post a message.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Jeanne, are you talking about the PBD forum?? it's not a real forum, like this one. Anytime you post to a picture to the PDB, it creates a new thread. if you click on forums on the menu, you'll see it.
People buy up domain names with the hopes sometimes of selling it for money.

Tig, when I went to Brugmansias.com, it took me to this forum and I could read all the posts even though I wasn't logged in. It said to post a message I had to log in or join.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I just did the same thing. I was logged out, said I had to register to post, but I could read every thread here, if I followed the link from Brugmansias.com. wonder if Dave knows.

Wonder how many are lurking out there?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

bet I know some, and I bet dave doesn't know

I've fixed it - so only subscribers can access it now.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

thanks dave

Thanks dave, I didn't think it was right that anyone could read all the posts. Glad you fixed it.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I even had my cousin check it out a few minutes ago to be sure and she isn't a member. Glad it is fixed now.

(Zone 6a)

I think I know of one who will not be able to read it now:)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Jeanne, thank you for finding this, I would never have thought to look for a back door in here!!!!

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

I hope that does it! We will know soon! Thanks everyone. Cala the road trip is getting closer, I think Ashley is as excited as I am. Maybe one day there will be a get together close enough so I can meet some of the rest of you.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Tracey, there was one in Crossville back in June, didn't you know about it?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

and it might be close to there next year. need to get with Carol and work on that. it's kindof slid back a bit on the priority list.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

This is so cool. Thanks Dave.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Dang it! I haven't been here that long. I just came here in July, thank you Snow. Snow told me about this site, I love it. Well maybe another one next year? How far is Crossville? I think I am about 4 hours from you.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Tracey, I just knew you'd be much happier here. You can't find a better group of people anywhere.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Tracey, Crosville is about an hour west of me.

Matthews, MO(Zone 6b)

Oh boy, will be there! I am much happier here, Snow. You guys ARE the best.
