I found that they do, but I use lots of fertilizer since mine are in pots. Priesell's book indicates that the more fertilizer the plant receives the more vegetative growth it will get.
ms kell, seems like the extra light would help them grow fastere but i haven't done this.
Kell, they will grow faster if you leave some stem from the leaf.(that worked best for me)Eventually the leaf stem will yellow and fall off.
