Lovely large pale yellow flowers with some pink freckling to the petals. Wider green leaves.
Short height.

I can't grow cannas here in Seward, but if I could, I'd surely want this one. I agree with Shirley1md... these are such a lovely yellow!

Hi Shirley,
This canna will not grow true from seed.
Only one canna ..liliiflora.. is fragrant.
A species canna from Bolivia. I hear it is difficult to grow.

Hi Weezingreens,
You should be able to grow cannas in Seward!
My partner is in Hindsville and grows cannas very well there.
My friend in Jonesboro owns one of the largest canna operations in the world.
I just returned from visiting his wonderful farm. Cannas do well in Arkansas !!!

Yes, it happens all the time. That's why I spelled out the state originally, but that didn't work for Dave's purposes, so we changed it to AK. We get calls at 5am sometimes and the folks on the other end of the line can't understand why we're still sleeping!

I could probably keep cannas indoors over the winter, but I've stopped bringing things in because I always seem to get aphids that way, and with a basement full of little seedlings every spring, that can be a disaster!

I've always loved cannas, but have never grown them. It's nice to be able to see what the folks at Dave's have grown. This one is particularly nice!
