Mornin' everybody!!
It's a drizzly day. We are waiting for the sprinkles to stop so the guys can get done cutting sileage. They only have a small field of cane left to cut. BIL is cutting and man, does he ever cut fast. I think he's almost in road gear. Nephew, who is a senior in high school, loves to drive the dump truck. He wouldn't give up that job to anybody last night. Even for homecoming.
I want to plant my jack-in-the-pulpit seeds today. It's supposed to be only in the 50's and 60's this week. My tomatoes look wonderful now, wouldn't you just know it? It's definitely supposed to freeze on Tuesday night.
I put one of the live traps down by the pond yesterday and baited it with marshmallows. Wonder if I will catch that sneaky coon. I'm going to start writing the first chapter of "Coon Hunting for Dummies" today!! LOL DH told his story to lots of people at work and I had my co-workers just rolling when I told them how we hunt coons. If only I would have had a video camera.!!!!
I'm waiting for the dough to rise on the cinnabon recipe that tiG had in Dave's cookbook. Can't wait until they're done.
Well, I see that I need to fill up the bird feeders. The blue jays are going to start pecking at the windows soon if I don't get out there and fill them.
Jewel, I think you are in good company when people tease you about the football game. I work with a guy that takes it personally when the Huskers lose. DS teases him about the Cornshuckers all the time and the guy teases DS about the Buffs. All in good fun.
Lisa, are you ready for that hurricane? Hope it's not too bad for you.
Anything in the baby department, Wingnut????
Take care everyone.
Have a wonderful weekend.
