As usual, many Chiefs but no indians

This is a picture out of our local newspaper, reporting about the Day of the Open Garden Door. The three ladies pictured belong to the District country womens club. My friends, that did all the work, selling cake and coffee, are not pictured, which is not fair.

But there are more pictures, made by a member. When I see her, I'll ask.

Very nice picture Monika and I agree that your friends who did all the work should have also been pictured.

Isn't that always the way! That's why they're called unsung heroes.

Lots of times I find the people who get their pictures taken are not the workers. The workers are too busy working to pose for photos. What matters is that you know who did the work and it wasn't those three. What about a few kudos for the gardener? Now that was a ton of work.

Here`s my big kudos for the gardeners Monika and Frank and each and everyone, that stood behind you to make the entire open garden day a dream for everybody.

A trefold Hurrah!

((((((Hurrah!!!!)))))

((((((Hurrah!!!!)))))

((((((Hurrah!!!!)))))

And for the many chiefs: Before 12. Century a king was only a king if he rode in front in a war ... if he was his peoples servant and if he could kneel to a child and obay its very commad! Everything else was glamour and vanity and these don`t build an empire. :) JMHO

... and now let me see your friends real pictures. *LOL*

I can't read it. :)Seldom do the people that do the work get credit.

Monika I'm going to save this picture as well as Ludger's. These are an inspiration for me. Congratulations on your charity work!

Workers are unfortunately always behind the scenes doing their thing tirelessly...give all your friends a big hug from me.

True - and mit Kaffee und Kuchen - is also a good thing.

Unfortunately that's the way it always works out. The ones that do all the work never get recognition.

well it looks like that huge brug in the picture is the real star that day!!! LOL
