Meiyu how long have you been growing burgs and how many do you have?

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Is this one very fragrant? I have one labeled Erics white and it has not bloomed yet but the buds are just forming now. Today I repotted it and moved it into the house. Tonight will be 32 degrees here.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Wow Ponitis! 32º!! It hasn't been that cold here yet. I guess I should counting my blessings.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

Yes 32 and it is raining right now. We haven't had rain in months and with the frost coming tonight I am worried. Covered everything but with the covers getting wet what is a girl to do?

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

if its raining you won't get a lot of frost....only when its dry....

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

the rain has stopped now. It is 36 degrees at 11pm. I am going out to put some more sheets on my plants. I raided the guest bed. LOL

(Zone 5a)

Ponditis I am not sure if it has a fragrance, I have had the flu for the last two weeks and can't smell a thing.

Lincoln City, OR(Zone 9a)

So you need our prayers that you might recover fast so you can smell them and give me a report. Thanks anyway. The one I have is probably not the same one anyway, I got to thinking about that later. Hope you are over the flu (?) soon.

san antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

windsurfer, i picked my first brug from a park in san antonio last october/november, and stuck it in a jar of water until i moved into my new house and built my first flower bed, this may. i now have about 20 or more brugs, and two daturas, thanks to my friend, jim, and ma vie, cala, and brugie....hope i didn't miss anyone? i want about 100 more, though...hahaha!! i keep trying to build more and more flower beds to house them, but i can't keep up! they grow very fast it seems!
don't tell me my flu will last that long!!!! i was in bed for the first 4-5 days, and i'm still weak...sleeping on and off about 3 times a day! i can't smell a thing either, and my brugs are about to bloom again!!!!

(Zone 5a)

Ponditis I need all the prayer I can get, I am so sick of being sick and hope to get my smell and taste back soon so I can enjoy a grilled stuffed steak.

Meiyu I sounds like you got the brug addition like the rest of us. This is my first year growing burgs thanks to Snowhermite and Calla. I hope to have more when I move and have more space for them.

san antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

i can't wait to grow more, windsurffer!!

hey, ma vie gave me a recipe for ginger tea that's doing wonders for my sense of smell and conjestion...about a one-inch piece of fresh ginger, crushed and boiled in about 4 cups of water, simmer about 20 minutes, and strain the ginger out before drinking...i had to put some sugar in it. you should try it!! i got to smell these this morning!!!
