Irish, how long does it take the pod to mature? I have three pods on Black Velvet and haven't known what to do with them. Are they full of seeds? Size? Just a little info on what to expect and when to pick would be great. Maybe the color of the pod when mature too. Geez, I'm just asking a lot, but I would like to try them from seed if I can pick it at the right time. Thanks.

not sure how long it will take but last time I picked it when it was still a little geen the seeds didn't germenate.
I will wait until the pod turns brown

Very impressive size plant. The flower reminds me of a spath that you would find on a Jack-in-the-Pulpit. How many years before it flowered?
