Have 3 Crape Myrtles

Porterfield, WI(Zone 4b)

I have (3) foot tall crape myrtles that I started from traded seeds. Well, guess what, there is none hardy in my zone 4/5. If anyone has any babies or suckers you'd like to trade for the mystery crape myrtles, I'd sure be happy. I have no information on the ones I have started, except that they look great, and I wish I could keep them.

I am looking for deciduous plants hardy in zone 4/5 as I am developing a "strolling border" going completely around my house, leading to my potting shed. If you are not sure about zones, I can check them out for you. I can add a pic if anyone is interested.

I also have pink spirea I started from seed which I can trade a few.

Legit, I think that your zone would really be pushing the hardiness of these plants, but even here in zone 6/7, they often die back to the ground, but regrow from the roots every spring (rather late getting up). They will grow many feet in a season. If you have a sheltered spot, perhaps near the foundation of the house?, and mulch... Just a thought as you seem to really like them... maybe try one??? John

Hi Legit,
I have some rooted cuttings of a euphorbia(Jade's Dragon), some lilacs called Miss Kim, various penstemons, some small echinacea plants, small delphinium plants. Does any of that interest you? The crape myrtles and pink spirea sound great. I think I have some daphne and bridal's wreath spirea rooted too.

Legit, I even have some lily bulbs, a yellow Asiatic, and some climbing roses that have rooted. They are older rose varieties.
