I want to know how come everyone but me has a big yard!!! Not fair!!
So do tell Roz, what is that colorful thing in the front of your picture next to the tall canna?

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

It is coleus, but I have no idea what kind. I really like it though the cuttings just look awful - seems to look better when there is lots of it. It is sorta pink and yellow. Looks anemic when just a little cutting. Want some?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

sure. It looks great. Is it in a built up bed with bricks Roz? At first I thought it was at least 6 feet tall and I could not believe you said it was coleus! LOL!

It is a built up bed. We used to have a slope on the side of the pool deck, but it was a real pain to mow, so this spring we built a wall ( actually , all I did was the cheering section) and added all the brugs and other stuff = way too much stuff cause you cannot put a pencil in there with any room. Lesson learned this year: if it says plant 24 Inches apart, it does not mean 5 inches apart. There are hibiscus in there, banana plants, datura, brugs, coleus, caladiums, verbena, blue sage, sweet potato vine, blue daze, plumbago, geraniums, marigolds, some kind of daisy, just way too much.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Thanks, everybody, but you know, having a big yard can be an awful lot of work, too. Sometimes I think it would be better to just have a small, perfect yard!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Roz, it's looks great!! Your brugs are really doing good and you've got lots more from when I was there last year!!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Suzie, I have another whole yard full behind the greenhouse that wasn't there last year, but those just don't look real good right now; leafless, buggy, and in spite of my efforts, just look worn out. Full sun just doesn't help them.

Roz,
You did it...very good!!!! See ya later today.
