just haven't had time to post this one, busy here. This is from Dr D x EP cross of Eric's. Very light pink, really pretty. I'm going to get rid of all other light pinks, have a huge unknown in the ground that this one will replace, so I can work with the genes in it. Small flower, just less than the length of my hand and it stays open all day.

Very pretty.

It is such a pretty soft pink. What do you plan on crossing it with?

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

probably this melon colored brug. I put Butterfly on two of them, that's all I had at the time. I have got to stop making crosses though or limit, cause really, where could I grow everything I want to??? I think a lot of us are going to have that problem!

That's a real pretty light pink. I've got a lot of plants I'm getting rid of too that I'm not sure what they really are. They are going over the bank as I don't want to add to more confusion next year with Brugs that are un named or misnamed.

I agree snow, trying to sort this out is taking a lot of time, and I already am guilty of sending out stuff wrong. Hopefully tossing some will help. I'll only be sending out cuttings of things I know for sure. DH isn't going to believe that I'll actually compost my precious brugs though!!

I need to get rid of a few, but my Bow Tie vine is growing up into one and a huge Blue Bouquet passiflora is in the other.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

I can't throw them away myself. It's too hard. I tell DH which ones must go and then I walk away while he throws them. He knows it's hard for me to dispose of them but I have to.

snow, they are ones that aren't good bloomers, or similar to others you have? that's kind of how i am doing it. i was so proud to shovel prune one sunday. well, actually i just cut it back to the ground, it's in between 2 of my seedlings that are growing where they popped up at. they are 6-7 feet tall and haven't bloomed yet. i remember freaking when i first heard brugmansia talking about pitching them, now i understand!

tig, i've decided to plant 5-10 seeds and store the rest. after i see how those turn out i can decide whether to plant the rest. of course, some will be shared right away, depending.

i picked the first pod off ora belle today, and planted 6 seeds in a pot before i brought the rest in....

Yes Arlene. Some of the similar ones that I'm sure what they are I've already cut up and given away the cuttings.I have one beauty now in full bloom that is supposed to be DrSuess but isn't. Not sure what it is so over the bank it goes.Slow bloomers, bad bloomers and unknowns are going.

How many splits in that calyx? Definitly shows its mixed parentage. As always you take some darn good photo's.

I'll have to check and see how many splits.
