New Colocasia Midnight

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Has anyone seen it, supposed to have the blackest leaves. I know where I can get some.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

Looks similar ro Black Magic, but maybe smaller. Last pic on the bottom right.

Different hue, maybe a shade darker.

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

I think my Black Magics are that dark -- the Black Magic to the left is just weirdly light.

Midnight is smaller and has a more elongated leaf. Cala! If you can find some ... can you find some for me, too?!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

I found them, they are a bit more than the ones on the co-op now, but not much more. Is that your web page that is in the link?

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

No, I wish. That's NCSU (North Carolina State Univ.). It's also good for coleuses.

When you said you had found some Midnight, I thought you had found adult plants at a high price, and I was bracing myself (I still would have hocked things if I had to). I had NO idea they might be available as inexpensive plugs.

Puhleease, let's get some!

If you need more people to be involved, I'll start phoning friends.

OK Rik, get up off the floor, it's not good for a man to beg, lol. I'll see what I can do, but got to get this first co-op out.

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Same plant I'll wager.......

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

I'd like a piece of that. How much will you wager?

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

My black magic looks like midnight to me.

Kingston, GA(Zone 7b)

Heyyyy Cala---me interested too! I love colocasias of any kind. :)

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

Hey Susie, I'm interested too!!

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

Suzie, what's the chance of getting Micky Mouse ele. ear?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Roz, they don't have that one listed yet.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

One day we will run across one. I have never seen one anywhere here for sale.

Birmingham, AL(Zone 7b)

M. Mouse shows up on ebay from time to time and was offered at GW recently. You just have to keep your ear to the ground ... and learn its mile-long botanical name.

To me they look puckered and deformed. I'd much rather have a nice, cleanly variegated upright.

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

url for C. multiflora midnight ... http://www.tropiflora.com/creport/cr9-3/v9n3p6.htm
