Just saw a commercial on the tube for EarthLink. It is the satellite connection for the internet. It seems like a good idea: no wiring from the outside pole; no power failure; no having to deal with the local cable company (Adelphia, boo).

There must be some short comings with EarthLink. Does anyone know about this satellite system?

I use dial up and am satisfied with the service. Just wondering about the other forms of internet connection.
