"Who hasn't got cuttings yet?"

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

Here's Arlene asking that question once again and showing off some pods. You can't see the loppers in her hand! LOL! People were leaving the swap with truckloads of plants and cuttings from her.

Hi Arlene,

Have to say that this picture is really good. That last one made me feel your pain when I looked at it. Glad you are moving along, but I'm like some of the others........Time to get a hat on. Wouldn't want you to have to go through all that pain again.

lagrange, GA(Zone 7a)

Once I posted and Arlene posted back and said she was wild. She looks sort of tame in this photo. I didn't know if she was referring to the terrain or to her. Must have been the terrain. Great to finally meet you.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Glad to see that your nose has healed. I agree with Brugie the last picture showed us all why we should be wearing hats and sunblock in the sun. You have come a long way, take good care of yourself. It sounds like everyone had fun visiting with you and trading.

(Zone 6a)

Good to finally see a pic of you, Arlene:) Nice to be able to put faces to the names in here:)

Owen

Nice to see you all healed up and healthy again. Boy, you sure have some large brugs.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Hi, everyone. redrose, you are so right, i had been up since before day light and hadn't sat down for 5 minutes all day. i've been behind on everything seems like forever. GRC, last year i asked you to help me put my garden in order, i just plant things like a wild woman and let them grow where they want to pretty much.
i'm only 20-30 minutes from I75 in gainesville depending on the time of day, you are all welcome to stop by on your way to disney.
Floridian took lots of pics, she's good with a camera, was great to meet her and FDH. i wish they'd had a trailer with them though, still have some plants in the ground to pass on.

Panhandle, FL(Zone 8a)

Arlene,
Ever heard of Keystone Hgts? I lived there several years before coming here. Nice area except for the Gators!

(Zone 5a)

Nice to meet you Arlene, I hope to have brugs that big one day. I didn't know that you were sick but glad to know that your are doing better. Do get some rest and take good care of yourself.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

You are in such trouble Arelene!! Everyone was saying it too nice to you!! I can't believe you are out there with your fair skin and no large brim hat. I am aghast! You need a spanking!

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

But Kell, she's been sick, be nice to her!!!

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

Picture of the day! Pretty neat, but it sure is the subject that made it and not the photo! :)

Lake Toxaway, NC(Zone 7a)

obviously I have missed something. What happened to Arlene? I was not aware of a swap meet in Florida, but it sounds like you had fun.
I am new to bruggies and finally have one (of three) with 2 buds on it. I don't know what color it is yet.
Can you root the cuttings this late? I suspect from other posts that all the leaves will fall off during the winter but I would love to have cuttings from a red one, or deep pink, or maybe yellow. If you can send any of these, please let me know and explain about the rooting process. tiG sent me some last year and 3 have made it. I just don't think 2 of them are going to bloom before frost.....

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Arlene - you look great! I bet Floridan & the others at the meet are on their way to brug addiction now!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

thanks to all who said i look great. i think i looked pretty grumpy. it was overcast all day and i don't think i thought about my hat at all. the tip of my nose is still numb, and sometimes my nose is sore, the skin isn't through healing for some reason, but i am pleased that it looks like i won't need a nose ring!
woodspirit, i am cutting outed. seems i have sent a ton, i still have 5-6 packs to send out. i am sending cuttings to NC and will ask her if she will sase to you. i have some i plan to protect over winter, won't be cutting those and won't cut all completely back as last year i had blooms til around christmas on some.

Lutz, FL(Zone 9b)

Ha Poppysue! Brug addiction is something I said I wouldn't do. I have (had) just one pitiful year old, no blooming, frail looking brug. Then we went to Arlene's...The future DH went hook, line and sinker standing there looking at all the brugs and saying "I want them all!!" and I'm right behind him! It only took that trip to see the error of my ways!

(Zone 5a)

Arlene please remember to wear you hat even on overcast days, the harmful rays are still there God bless

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

Arlene, great to see you. It looks like you are healing well, but girl: where is your hat?
Were you the queen of brugs??? I bet you were. wish I could have been there

High Springs, FL(Zone 8b)

ARLENE!! I didn't know Floridian was there! Guess I should have paid more attention...

Thanks again for the great time and wonderful plants!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Arlene......you have so many mothers now............... you best resign yourself to be a good girl from now on!!

Cala, we must be strict with baby Arlene, or she will get sick again!!!!

Noblesville, IN(Zone 5a)

I didn't get to go so don't know what is wrong with Arlene but I do hope she is better soon.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)
