White Suaveolens Variegata

This is a real mite magnet, but she is kind of pretty.

that is really pretty brugie.

Thanks Arlene, but she is a pain in the you know what. I like the size of the blooms, but she isn't really worth all the trouble keeping the mite population down to a roar.

Another nice one Brugie. Your brugs are lovely.

Wow, what are you feeding those?

S,
It is a beauty.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks everyone. Actually, now I'm not feeding. Did the last feed two weeks ago and I'd rather they slow down now before coming inside. When I do feed, it is always Peters 20-20-20. Once a month I MIGHT give them a bloom booster, but I only remember using it once this summer. Maybe twice, but CRC has hit again.

Really pretty Shirlie. I like this plant maybe because it is an early bloomer. Mine is loaded with buds again. Checked a few outside Brugs today for mites but didn't see any. Will have to check the rest tomorrow.I'll check this one real close. I had to throw a beautiful Hoya plant out today that was hanging in my bedroom. It was covered with mites.

Brugie - have you ever had any problems rooting yours? I know that Monika said that this one really doesn't like wet feet but I've only had about a 10% success rate with cuttings.

Liz, I'm not Brugie but I've tried to root several little side cuttings in sand and every one of them rotted. Also tried a bigger shoot in water and that is still hanging on and getting some white nubbies so I will have to wait and see if it makes it.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

I really like the white flowers with the white variegation. It's a beautiful plant Brugie.

Hillsboro, OH(Zone 6a)

LOL Kell! At least I am not a thorn. :)

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Thanks snow - will try the side cuttings, mine just didn't like the water.

Ace, TX(Zone 8a)

Brugie I would love a cutting of this if you ever have any extra. I have the variegated peaches and cream and the sunset. They would just look so great together. :0)

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I like the looks of the plant too. I'm surprised at how many people like this one. I'll take some cuttings and see how I do. Did one earlier this year with no trouble. I never use water for my cuttings unless they are really green. Just soil and not too wet. Won't make any promises right now, but give me a couple of weeks and we will see what happens.
