The "scent" of brug wood ..

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

I said this before to be made fun of. But I smell it ..and going out on a limb again.
Apart from the fragrance of the blooms, does anyone else smell the good scent of the plant itself?

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Alice, I agree a bit. I have one brug, Amber Rose, and she smells like Almond. I thought I was nuts the first time I smelled it, but each time I go to the garden I can smell her and it isn't the bloom.

jesh...all I smell is tomato plants when I get around alot of brugs.....

some seed pods smell like bell peppers when you open them.

Brugie, that is the smell. Have not gotten to which I can pinpoint plant yet, but that scent.
Not Amber Rose for me as I don't have that one.
