Insignis Gold x Butterfly

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

Opened last night. The entire flower is a lemony yellow, and seems up close to have a darkening rim. Will have to keep looking to see if it turns peach or darkens more. It's right outside the window with the watermelon one, and such a great view.
This one is a much smaller flower, 6" across when open, can't get up there to measure length, it's not a long flower. It didn't Y until after it was 6' tall. Will keep no matter what because of the genes already there.

btw, seed started 1-1-02, they say that what you're doing on New Years is what you'll be doing all year. so I wanted to be working with brugs:)

TiG, that's a good way to start the year!! I like this one too. I have about 6 of Eric's seedligs that have yed, don't know if they will bloom before frost, so I may be layering(Brugies method)

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

arlene, this one is in a 25 gallon pot, it's over 7' on top of that. can you imagine bringing it in?? but I am:) it's very fragrant, and darker than this pic appears, but could be just darkening, I can see it from here, and it's much yellower.
