Opened last night. The entire flower is a lemony yellow, and seems up close to have a darkening rim. Will have to keep looking to see if it turns peach or darkens more. It's right outside the window with the watermelon one, and such a great view.
This one is a much smaller flower, 6" across when open, can't get up there to measure length, it's not a long flower. It didn't Y until after it was 6' tall. Will keep no matter what because of the genes already there.

btw, seed started 1-1-02, they say that what you're doing on New Years is what you'll be doing all year. so I wanted to be working with brugs:)
TiG, that's a good way to start the year!! I like this one too. I have about 6 of Eric's seedligs that have yed, don't know if they will bloom before frost, so I may be layering(Brugies method)
tig, i can't really see the tendrils. it opened this color? fragrant? side pic???? on ladder? are you digging up for winter or do you know yet?
tiG looks very close to Jean Pasko.... :-) Nice!!
this is Eric's, out of 6 seedlings to bloom so far only one has been white.
This one is beautiful too! It almost does not look real in the first pic. :)
So pretty. Tig, when did you say you were going out of town???
I'm not!! you can bet that !!! :) my yard smells like heaven though, and my son is due down here in the morning. can't wait til he sees it, he appreciates plants of every kind.
Maybe I should come thru Georgia on vacation next month:) LOL
Am thinking about maybe spending a few days in Florida....
