Wanted Water Lotus and hardy Water Lily Seeds
Joydie1, are you wanting to try from seeds for the sheer challenge? Can you grow but water lilies true from seed? I thought most of them are hybrids, propagated by division. Now I'm intrigued - please tell us more about what you're wanting to do.
I have some lotus seeds. What do you have?
I have some sacred lotus seeds. They are old, but they will still grow (just sprouted some a few weeks ago). I also have En Tsai, Ipomoea aquatica (aka chinese water spinach). I grow this as a vegetable but if you leave it alone it will climb up whatever it can and make nice big white flowers.
