For Brugie - side of the Uk-pink

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

Brugie - this is a side shot of the flower. I think it is insignis pink. She droops more during the day and perks up at night. This plant is in a big container with some other things growing around her. It has blown over about 20 times in the last week. Amazingly ... it has broken a branch yet - although she is starting to look a little scragly from the abuse.

I'm a proud mama ... I think I have some of my very first pods coming on her.

She sure doesn't look like any of the many Frosty Pink types that I have out there. Nice color and shape.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Very pretty Poppysue. Great shot!

Is the pink color true in the photo, or is it prettier "in person"? REally nice.

Gorgeous.

I think this picture was on the eve of the second (or maybe third) day after opening. The color gets more intense before the bloom starts to fade. I think the picture color is pretty accurate but it's hard to say cuz I don't have any blooms on the plant at the moment. The weather at the time was perfect too - 70s with cooling down to 60s at night. The last blooms that came were in a terrible heat spell and they didn't seem to last very long compared to the cooler temps.
