This brug had the first flowers open on the 8th of sept...today on the 15th they started browning and closing up..thats 6 days for each flower.......they also turned a beautiful peachy color the older they got.Very sweet fragrance...not real strong..but very sweet.Guess it will be used in my breeding program too.Still waiting to decide what to name it...guess since we don't know its exact origin..it will be called Tommie Lockwood from here on out. :-)
Tommie Lockwood clone update.
Kyle I believe that's an honor to Tommy and I know his family will appreciate this tremendously. The flower is indeed very beautiful. My question is, is the flower a versicolor hybrid? If so do you think you will be crossing this one with Cremesickle, HG or a candida flora flena double peach?
Beautiful Kyle. I love it!
Very pretty.
joydie..its definately a versicolor..as to whether its a hybrid or a collected plant we will never know at this point.I only have Herrenhauser garten here so if it ever blooms I may cross it.:-)
It's a real beauty.
Looks great Kyle. I do believe it has darkened more since Sat.'s bloom. Hope you get something great out of the Tommie Lockwood X ?? crosses.
Kyle is the flower peach or a soft orange...its hard to tell on my computer.
joydie peach and orange look very close to me.....I'd say more orange myself.
It is very beautiful, and I am sure what ever you decide to do with it will be wonderful, just the thought of all this mans hard work being discarded just sickening! At least you were able to save this one, as I am sure it will always have a home there with you.
Kyle, is THIS the TL clone?
Monika, Yes this is the Tommie Lockwood clone.
THANKS, Kyle
it's beautiful Kyle. if you decide to pass it around, I'd love to get on your list.
