Well, I have been gone for most of the weekend and thought that I would have missed some posts, but things is still quiet around here.
I left Friday and rode to St. Louis with a friend. I stayed all night with my best friend Friday night and Saturday. We dug her daylilies and she shared them with me. I also found some baby persimmon trees for EvaMae. Hope we can make connections this week or next.
Then Hubby picked me up early this morning and we went over to our daughter's for a visit. We sure had a nice time and we went to a festival there. I veered in the direction of the plant stands. bought iris rhizomes, an orchid, scented geraniums, lemon grass, and a very tall hibiscus. I could have talked longer to the growers, but the rest of the family just stood around and shuffled their feet. There were lots of crafts and we got our "hard-to-buy-for" Son in law a christmas present.
We got home after dark and found a note on our door that the cows were out today. The guy that puts in the corn and soybeans in the bottom had gotten them in, but then it was off to do a quick repair on some fence. I told my husband that if he had married a city girl he would probably already be in bed. We put up a fence panel and will check on it again tomorrow.
Well, off to bed and another work week tomorrow.
