Hi gardening friends. I have Lycoris squamigera bulbs. The foliage is up. When can I move them? Now,or after they have died down from blooming. I don't like where they are located. Also do they need some shade? Thanks
Lycoris question
Don't know if you've already gotten an answer to your question, but here goes....it would be best to wait until after they bloom, but not critical. They are finicky about being moved and may not bloom for a couple of years. They like sun, but might do OK in light/part shade. Hope this helps.
Thanks Bloomer, I moved part of them so I may not have many blooms for sometime. At least hopefully they will recover.
