it bloomed. I nearly fainted:)
can't believe my eyes
Oh, how Purdy tiG!
Is this a Roja nanna?
sorry, I was so excited. it's musa zebrina. I've been so busy running around looking at all the brugs blooming I wouldn't have seen this if my daughter hadn't found it!!!
How did I miss this??? Congratulations TiG. When the fruit stops setting, cut the top out of the bloom and the fruit will ripen(did I listen good MaVie?)
I read where these aren't edible. not because they're toxic, but because they are very chalky and bitter. but will they make seeds if I do that?
How very neat tiG. We planted a Cavendish this year. I hope we get fruit someday. Nothing like tree ripened bananas!
Awesome!!!!!!!Didn't know what it bloomed like before..Now I know!!:-)
Awesome how neat so happy for you.
congratulations tiG.
way to grow :-)
Good for you Tig - how tall is this thing now!! Mine is only about 4 ft tall!!
it's about 6-7 ft. it's pretty big around, good thing it has pups, cause the momma will die now that it bloomed.
gosh you are Miss Budacious this month!!
KEWLLLLL Tig.......
peanutbutter and bannana sandwich any one
hope the frost hold off for you tiG
congrats, tig, they are neat aren't they!
It's a beauty!
irish, I'll have to buy my bananas for that sandwich (my fav) these are tiny bananas, don't know how big they get, but I've read they are really chalky and bitter. might have to take a bite just to see, I'm a curious cat!
Great picture, tiG.
