arlene, how was your plant swap?
tig, it was good. our southern friends got stuck in ocala on I75, bad wreck. poor irish and katie, spent the day driving in the rain and sitting in traffic! irish dug up my EP (thanks irish), DH had run over with the lawnmower. it would never have had time to bloom this year with all the trauma it has been through.
Amarylisgal and Floridian took pics, i can't believe i didn't!!!! Dee didn't either. Floridian took pics of my spiders, i think she got one of a hummer, i'm looking forward to seeing the pics.
it sprinkled 5 minutes about noon and didn't rain again until Floridian and DH were loading their truck. i had them confused with flsuncoast, but they did take a couple of brugs home with them!
there was a large variety of plants, and a couple of people left their extras with me. somehow i meant to load them into someone else's trucks but i didn't get it done. and Dara brought soap she makes to trade, i'll be using hand made soap forever now, i really like the stuff! gingerlily gave me hand made soap when she was here monday also. i sent a brug home with maryanne and DH, was at least 9 feet, to get into the SUV maryanne had to sit in the back seat. i hope everyone had a good time, i surely did, lots of nice people!
Sounds like y'all had a wonderful time(Except Irish and Katie). I'm glad I'm not the only one that gets people mixed up.

Y'all know Arlene, asking everyone who wants what plant or cutting, right?? Well I heard my future DH say "I want them all". Congrats brug fans, you have created a new brug addict!! He has been up since 0 dark thirty planning where he's going to plant his new brugs. I haven't seen him since! I have only found drawings of garden beds! LOL.
Floridian, wish i could have gotten more in the truck! was great fun meeting you, will be looking for your pics.

I had a great time, it was good to meet people I haven't met yet and see again Pete and Katie. I got home last night kinda late, after driving through terrible lightning and rain then to top it off, when I turned off on my road I discovered I had to get through a partially washed out dirt road. Still the trip was worth it. Sure is dang hot this morning though, just like a sauna.
irish, lol.... i've never had quality time in a traffic jam!!!! Cala, i didn't give him bad directions, there was a bad accident on the interstate. irish is highly selective, couldn't give him all i wanted to, but he did take home a few real beauties. i'm going to be green with envy when he posts pics early next spring and mine are just coming back from frost.

I'm so glad you all had such a great time. Isn't it fun to share what we have. Wish there were more Daves people in this area, but I only know of about three around here. Debby lives just 20 miles from here or less and Kyle who lives farther away, but has become such a great friend. We never lack for anything to talk about and yesterday was no different.
Arlene, I'll bet you got some really nice things. You will have to post pictures when it is all up and blooming too.
