No, it's completely different, it's much lighter than even Butterfly, I promise. It was getting dark, I used flash.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

must be my eyes, i believe you cala!!!!! do you like it?

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Another pretty one, I like it, hope you do too.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Arlene, I had to go back and look at the whole bunch of pictures I took, you had me wondering!!! It's okay, will be prettier when it's full of blooms.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Geez, this one looks like my Pink Beauty. The color is right, so I'll hang in there and maybe mine will be positively ID'ed soon. I better go read my PB thread. Maybe it has been done and I haven't had time to read it all. I like this one Cala. Heck, I like them all, but this one is really nice. Are these big blooms?

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

whatever it is, it is a beauty! love it.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

No, smaller than any of the new pinks. Smaller than Butterfly I think. I'll have to compare them tomorrow.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Is this the one that Eric had in his three suitcases of cuttings? Hope so, since I got a couple of them. I like this one too. So, is this one of the "R" brugs?

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Sure is a beautiful color.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Is it just me? I feel like I'm on a merry go round. I'm supposed to have these and I'm very confused. My Pink Beauty should be pink by tomorrow - I'm going to do one of those comparison shots.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Liz, it's a "guess what this one is" kind of summer, lol.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

This was how I planned to spend my summer. I know - get a life!
I could die happy if someone put a name to insignis pink, orange and gold.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Liz, I've looked at FP, IP, Isabella, and Golfito until they all look alike, plus some more in the garden from seed. There has to be a difference somewhere in them, but I sure can't find it. Decided to keep Isabella and the rest are taking that trip to the big compost heap in the sky. :-)

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

Cala it is beautiful!

Hamilton, Canada

Brugie you have email :-)

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

WOW! another beauty :)!!!!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Cala, I dont think its Rosabelle. Rosabelle has a very distinctive appearance: the flowerstalk points upwards. The weight of the flower bends the calyx down at about one third of length. Take a look at the pictures, I posted of Rosabelle.

monika, i have wondered why one of my (sorry have no idea what the names are) brugs had flowers that went out at 30-40 degree angle, and the other tree had flowers which hung vertically. being that it's the weight of the flower, or i believe this is what you implied, does that mean the all 'rosabelles' would have such a heavy flower and if there is another brug with the same color of flower, but produced smaller ones which would cause them to hang differently, this would determine that it was not 'rosabelle'? wow...that being true, how many different known kinds are there? also, are there any brugs which are not white, yellow, pink or peach? and are there ones that have more than one color inside the flower?

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

Well poo, guess I just need to toss all the pinks and start over!! I'm so tired of nothing being what I thought it was, going to concentrate on passifloras, they are easier to identify!!

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

The angle of the flower differs from species to species. versis have always pending flowers, so do many x candidas and Multihybrids as CG with almost pending flowers. Aurea flowers are more horizontal and suaveolens always nodding.
Multihybrids differ, it depends, what genes are dominant.

But the upwards pointing flowerstalk is seen only on Rosabelle. Rosabelle flowers have a length of 34cm without the stalk.

Cala ..don't give up..you'll get em all straightened out...someday...maybe.......LOL
Welcome to the great world of collecting brugs......see what I went thru in the beginning..took years to get 5 different forms........so many duplicates...now I can spot duplicates by foliage.Whew! less repeats now.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Cala, your picture is a lot like what my PB looks like. I'm getting more confused by the minute.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Cala, your picture is a lot like what my PB looks like. I'm getting more confused by the minute. No, I just looked again and mine is more pink and yours has a coral look to it. It is a beauty. Hope you get it ID'd so I can start begging again........ :-) I keep scrolling back to the top. It is really pretty. Got so excited that I hope I didn't double post this one.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

The following morning she was hanging straight down. Guess it's Rosabelle after all. The leaves are so thick on these(yes, I keep cutting them off) sometimes the buds get hung on top of the leaves for a while.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

If it is Rosabelle, I do have a cutting of that one, so I won't have to bug you. :-) I'm already getting excited about next summer.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I'm wondering where all these seeds are gonna grow!! everyone is making great crosses! can you imagine what we might see???

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Gee Brugie, will I have a cutting of this one too?? Or do I already??

san antonio, TX(Zone 8a)

cala, you can toss any of those pinks this way...hahaha...as if i don't have enough, now!!!!
