Rosamond on a warm summer day. There is another picture in the PDB.
Picture of Rosamond
Monika, which of the R kids do you like best? that does look line mine.... wondering why brugie's are so much lighter too.
I love it....Monika, very nice
I'm actually hoping my Pink Beauty turns out to be this one. I'd think I'd died and gone to heaven if I had a 15ft brug with blooms like this every year. That's not to say that if mine isn't Pink Beauty I won't be hounding each and every one of you for a cutting. LOL
That is beautiful!!!!
I think mine is Rosamond, the plant is at least 10 feet tall and the blooms look just like that.
The shape is right but the color is wrong on mine. This is a gorgeous picture.
aarlene, my favorites are Rosalie, Rosabelle, Rosamond and Cinderella. Rosie is beautiful too, her flowers are like wax but she sets on only few flowers and has the ugly growth of mama Rothkirch. I have beautiful pics of Rosie but its only in the first year.
Monika... could it be possible since we all live in different areas, the soil ph or temperature could make a difference in the color of the flower? i wonder????
The climate conditions of Mme Blin und mine couldnt be more different. She lives in the warm southern Rhine Valley region, I live in a rough mountain range of 600m altitude. Size and color of the flowers is the same, there is no difference with one exception; the leaves on my plants are thicker.
thanks for the info Monika :)!
winter blues bump.
Beautiful . . thank you Arlene.
Arlene, did you ever figure out if yours is Pink Beauty or Rosamond?
Unbelievable, I wrote on a warm summer day. ITS SNOWING OUTSIDE!
Snowed here last night too. Can't wait to get all my girls outside and planted this spring.
