Lemon Pepper Pasta

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

When I come home from work, and have absolutely no idea what make for dinner, I always rely on this very simple pasta dish.

1 pound spaghetti
2 tablespoons olive oil
3 tablespoons lemon juice, to taste
1 tablespoon basil
salt and ground black pepper to taste
grated parmesan

Bring a large pot of lightly salted water to a boil. Add pasta and cook for 8 to 10 minutes, or until done; drain.
In a small bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, basil and black pepper. Mix well and toss with the pasta - add liberal amounts of parmesan.

serve with sliced tomatoes and cucumbers or a simple tossed salad...

** If you have any walnuts or pine nutes, you can add those in too.***
