That's too bad. Wonder why the flower doesn't open more fully.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I've wondered this too about one that Jeanne sent me. It is a beautiful color of peachy pink, but so far, the blooms only open up about the way Kyle's does. However, I can't send this one to the compost pile. I have to put it in a pot next year and give it full sun to see what might happen with it.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Too bad! Try to give it a little more time, may be the weather or.... Might surprise you!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Have mercy!

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

I like it. It may not be what you expected but if you had never seen a brug flower, you would think this was the way it was supposed to be-beautiful.

Bodrum, Turkey(Zone 10a)

kind of like giving it the electric chair...

I kind of like it, a krinkly look, a different characteristic, may be not a flaw at all.

Gulfport, MS(Zone 8a)

I like it too. I think you should call it Ruffles.

Catoosa, OK(Zone 7a)

Maybe a stay of execution is called for. You could always extradite it to other gardens. :-)

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Could it be caused by the six corolla leaves (flower leaves?).

Norwalk, IA(Zone 5b)

Monika..it does this on all the flowers.......very unusual ..but not pretty in my eyes. Now if it were a nminiature...maybe. :-)

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

I like this one and I really can't explain why.
