Hi everyone
I'd be happy for feedback on our new website, at http://capeseeds.com
Cape Seeds is a project of Jabulani Handcraft Centre, which itself is a branch of the Association for the Physically Challenged, in Zululand, South Africa.
We train disabled Zulu men and women to make traditional Zulu handcrafts, and have begun a number of new projects. The "Cape Seeds" project trains disabled and disadvantaged rural Zulu women to identify and collect seeds from the wilds of South Africa, both ethically and in an environmentally-friendly manner. Not more than 10% of the available seeds from any plant community is ever harvested.
I hope you'll have a look at the site, and let me know of any problems, as well as any suggestions or comments you might have.
Unfortunately, not all of the listed seeds have photographs yet, but those that are there, are
excellent (IMHO)
Thanks
Joshua Anderson

New Seed Source, from Africa
Beautiful photos! Brilliant idea! I've often wondered why none of the big charities do something like this. And a newsletter about SA plants! Even I (too pennypinching to buy even from Chiltern this year) might think about an order for these precious seeds. Going back again for another look.
Oh, and welcome to DG. You'll enjoy it here.
Great site...I bookmarked it and will be ordering..thanks for sharing
Sandy
Hi Josh --- Great site and I think it is wonderful what all of you are doing. Will check out the site throughly tomorrow and will for sure order a few things.
Thank you so much for the kind words, everyone! If you're interested, please subscribe to the newsletter: we don't only push seeds, but really try to make it as interesting as possible.
Thanks again
