Good morning all! DH and I got up early to load Buzz to take to butcher. My husband comes off as a big gruff growly bear at times. But it was hard for him to haul Buzz to butcher. Especially, when Buzz decided to play for awhile (which is a goofy site considering he weighed around 1400 lbs). Dh then left with neigbhor to go to Husker Harvest Days near Grand Island. It is a mega farm show advertising all the latest equipment, cattle, seed corn, etc. (one big drool fest).
On a down note, my mother called at 7:30 that my sister's mother-in-law died through the night. She didn't know any details but I don't recall that she was having any health problems. In fact my brother-in-law and sister had both sent me e-mails yesterday and hadn't mentioned anything.
DH finally replaced the belt on the mower so I need to go mow. I need to find a mask though because there is one weed that grows this time of the year that has a lot of seed/pollen and I will be miserable later.
