i was afraid to ask for pollen, afraid i would jinx the bud. it has popped open this morning, the little tendrils are showing. it's strange how it did, the end of the calyx didn't split at the end but popped open further up, the point on it is still intact.

Arlene, have you thought of pollinating your arborea with L'amour, Butterfly, etc? You could very well get a multihybrid similar to Monika's one of a kind. I think that I would be begging for some flava or sang pollen as well though. Just thought I would through out a possibility for you though.
