what a morning

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

I've been watching as much of the coverage on tv as I can, but it's watering day and I have to take care of things. I've been waiting for this bloom for what seems like forever. took picture after picture trying to get the mottling to show. It's so gorgeous. I don't know what the next flush will look like, but if you could see it in person, you would just sigh deeply, it's that pretty. And then I uploaded the pictures and started crying. It wasn't a planned picture.
Just a poignant moment for me on this day.

Wonderful picture that will always be a reminder of more than just a flower. Very nice, but sad. I hope and pray that this day and all those in the future will be peaceful.
