When loading a program the other day the electric went off so needless to say the program didnt all the way load. Now when I turn on my computer before everything begins to load I get this message.
Can not find a device file that may be needed to run Windows or a Windows application. The Windows registry or System INI file refers to this device file, but the device no longer exists.
If you deleted this file on purpose try uninstalling the associated application using its uninstall or setup program.
If you still want to use the application associated with this device file, try reinstalling that application to replace the missing file.
There is no unstall application since it never loaded fully.
Tried to load it again to use the unstall and it didn't do anything but give me another message as the previous one.
Ok I went to Systems INI and removed the check mark from it hoping that would do the trick --- but it didn't
It isn't really that big of a problem since when I get the message I can just hit any key and it will continue and load everything. It is just a nusiance in having to do that each time and not sure if it is taking up some of my resources being there or not.
Any suggestions of how to get rid of it?
What Can I do????
