Passiflora Murucuja

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

This is a dainty little vine with a dainty flower. I think I'll like this one in the house this winter.

it's beautiful! this is the only one left that I crave. I had cuttings but couldn't get it right. :(

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'll see if I can get any to start. Have been just drooping a vine into another pot and then when they root, I can just cut it off and it is rooted and growing in it's own pot. Can't do a lot of them that way, but I'll give a couple of them a shot.

Cedar Key, FL(Zone 9a)

That is too pretty!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

thanks Shirley, don't put yours at risk though!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

If I have to tear at it to get it done, I won't. Will let you know if it can be done. I did get this one at Kartuz if my method doesn't work.

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

OMG, another gotta have!!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'll see what I can do Susie. Will work on it tomorrow afternoon.

Susie, Karyn, Bonnie:
None of you have a rooted P. murucuja from me, only cuttings?? Strange, I wonder where I sent the rooted ones to, I had about 10 of them in the Spring when I sent out all those plants. I know one went to Patricia, and one went to Mary D., and possibly one went to Sue. I need to start using the table I created to keep track of which pf's were sent to DG members.

sorry Tin, I only got cuttings, I tried really hard, that is one beauty of a PF

Palmyra, VA(Zone 7a)

I brought one stock plant of P. murucuja with me, and left the other one behind. It dropped all its leaves from the move, let me see what I can do about rooting a few when it recovered.

Westbrook, ME(Zone 5a)

It wasn't me that got one. I'd love to have one tho.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I'll see if I can get some more started too. I have four of them right now, buried, and I'm sure I can find a few more to do the same thing with.
Tim, how cold hardy is this one? I don't want to leave it out too long and chance losing it.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8a)

the foliage is most unusual, Brugie! and the bloom is so pretty! Elaine

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Thanks Elaine, it is just a dainty little plant. It has grown all summer and is just about three foot long at the most. I have it in full sun and it gets watered, fertilized, etc. just like all the other plants.
