My African Mask, Alocasia amazonica decided to send up a flower stalk. This may not be a rare occasion for some, but it is for me here in zone 6. The flower has died back and the stalk is swelling. My question is, are they self fertile? More questions-will it produce seeds and are they viable and what they heck do I do with them if the answers are yes? LOL

Do you not have this one tiG?? I took two to the round up for Eyes and Cala and gave one to Peggy. I just *might* have one extra. :) I am only working three nights this week. Already did Sunday and let me tell you I was some kind of wiped out yesterday! LOL Zombie Mom! I have to work Wed and Fri too. It is refreshing to know, a few of the rest of the crew are moms too, but most don't have kids as young as mine. They said if I can get through the first week I will be fine. Here is hoping I can make it through two more nights! LOL Thank you for caring.

Well, since my hubby decided to totally neglect my birthday, I splurged and bought myself one! LOL I think I paid $14 for the pot and there were 4-5 in there. I am one of those gardeners that likes to have one of everything instead of a bunch of one thing, so I shared. :) I still have two, so I will keep one for you, along with the Allamanda. I really need to make a list of the things that need to fly south! LOL
