passiflora fruit/jumping up and down here

Deep South Coastal, TX(Zone 10a)

If y'all knew HOW many blooms of Blue Bouquet I'd pollinated this year, you would jump for joy too. I'd pollinate, watch the flower fade, then alas, it always fell off. Today, I was just walking around looking at the vines and voila....there it was. Not one, but 2 fruits on Blue Bouquet, I pollinated with vitifolia and Caerulea Alba, my guess it's caerulea alba that's the daddy.

We are going to start to call you the impregnator!!

Just so it's only the flowers getting that way!! How about "pollinator" instead?

Susie,
are they big? they look so big.

I had my gracillis (seeds came from Tim) that bloomd indoors and the fruits are still green, I had one tiny red fruit on it, now I have about 20 little green fruits on it. are they ever gonna turn red/orange?

Way to go Calla! Your persistence paid off. It will be interesting to see what babies you get from the cross.

Susie,
Don't bother with pollen from P. incarnata, I must have pollinated over 20 flowers, all fell off.

If you have P. caerulea, give it a try, that should work.

P caerulea is what I had success with, caerulea alba, that is. The blue one was in too much shade, didn't bloom.
