Good morning. Everybody must be busier than I am. We had rain yesterday, light, not enough to help much, but enough to get me wet. I must be like a chicken instead of a duck. Yesterday I tried to catch one of our horses to put her in a corral to wean her colt. She wasn't cooperative, and the whole bunch ran round and round having fun. I got wet and the mare I wanted to keep in got out through the pasture gate when I was trying to let others out. So maybe today when it gets dry. So far we have 42*, cloudy, looks like it could rain again. Bah humbug! I have so many things to do outside and it is wet everywhere. Yesterday I did laundry and washed saddle pads, they are out on the line dripping. A neighbor borrowed our tractor so I can't even turn the compost (huge pile). Looks like I am never happy, first too wet, then too dry, now too wet again. Can you tell wet weather doesn't inspire me? I do feel bad for those people who are having floods, and here I am complaining about my wet conditions which are nothing in comparison. Ok, better weather tomorrow. Count your blessings. Smile lots.
