Brug Bouquet

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

I brought a bouquet into the house. Gosh, it really smells good in here. These are VP, VO, DS, US Conn Treasurers, and Butterfly. Three are Suess because they smell so good and I needed my brug fix. :-)

No don't you go sniffing them to much!!

Oh my, so beautiful.

I bet your house smells wonderful.. That is very pretty, I saw somewhere, where some of the more elite weddings are carrying brugmansia's in their bouquets.

I wonder how they keep them from drooping in a wedding bouquet. Three of my blooms are still standing up, but the others are half drooped already. Sure wish they would last for a couple of days in the house.

Dee, I have to smell them. Butterfly is sure staying nice, as is US Conn. and one of the Suess blooms.

Gloria, you will have your share before frost. Just think how much more you will appreciate and enjoy them after waiting so long.

Cala, I'll bet you can really smell them in the Jungle house in the morning. I keep going back to VO for the fragrance. I know it is one of your favorites. I just love it and can sometimes smell it during the day, even though faint.

Thanks Arlene, I wish you would post some more of your pictures. Did your Culebra bloom? I have had three blooms so far. Didn't realize they would be so small.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

What a beautiful bouquet.

Snow, the Milk N Honey you sent me has even more blooms than this. I even cut one part off so I could send out a couple of cuttings and so I lost about a third of the bloom doing that. Nice blooms on it and I thank you and Kyle for it.

Thanks, Brugie, I needed that!!! They are a coming...next couple days should be worth waiting for.

Brugie, So glad it's blooming for you. I just love that plant. It is an excellant bloomer and smells so good.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Very pretty bouquet and all different colors. I also wished that they lasted longer after being cut.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

you didn't take pictures of Culebra??????????/

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

SO pretty! It would be great if lasted as a cut flower. The only way I have been able to do it is to cut a big branch off a tree with buds on it and they will continue to open and they do last a few days.

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

DAVE - We really NEED Smell-a-vision - NOW!!

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

LOL Azalea!! That would make a fortune!! Can you imagine the bakeries selling on line.........

Jonesboro, GA(Zone 7b)

I really want to smell one now!!! Haven't smelled one since Tig & I went to visit Arlene in July!

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Could still smell them in the bedroom this morning, even though the blooms were totally wilted. Might have to pick a couple each night to enjoy inside. They aren't going to last very long outside anyway. Will be too cold to sit outside and enjoy them in the late evening.

PJ, wouldn't that be cool. You could have your home smelling like a bakery all the time by turning on the puter. Think about what we didn't have 100 years ago. With a little work and time beyond my years, it wouldn't surprise me if they come up with something along this line.

Livermore, CA(Zone 9a)

They are all so pretty Shirley.
