This fella began programming in the 1980's and he gives a timeline of the evolution of computers, computer games, and computer-generated music (this he chronicles from 1981 to 1990). Oh...What precipitated this post was being at a yard sale and seeing the old Battle Chess game from the 1980's, in its original box and on the original three 5 3/4" diskettes. I almost bought it, but didn't. I couldn't install it unless I found someone with an old PC somewhere, after all. Now I wish I'd bought it, though. ;)
