My papayas at work.fruit forming

These plants will freeze before they get big enough to eat..we have a tree thats about 30 ft tall in the inside greenhouse dome.Funny..they aren't supposed to get more than 8-10ft tall...:-)

you have a greenhouse DOME, eclipse? totally cool...can i see a picture of it? i'm thinking of getting/building a greenhouse this fall (er, rather, getting peter to do it for me...hehe) and it can hold a 30ft tree? i've gotta see it...please?

meiyu..the dome is about 70 feet tall and 120 feet wide..its a conservatory I work at... :-)wish I even had a greenhouse at home..

Meiyu, papaya blossom does not have any fragrance if i remember right.

Peeble, papaya are edible either green or ripe [yellow]. the green papaya we use for chicken with soup. it is very nice to make pickles too! the green papaya is grated, and made into very nice pickle. use as condiment with broiled meat or fish. ripe papaya, we squeeze some lemons when we eat them.

WOW KYLE that is some green house u got at work! i wish i had a green house too.

eclipse...can we sneak it off in the middle of the night? sounds like a great addition to our garden!!! i guess it wouldn't be as easy as gettin' canna seeds from my neighbor's yard, though, eh?
