Banana ready to bloom

This is a red flowering banana Coccinea I think...has red flowers that point upright..the plant is about 6 feet tall and has a big pup already.Will post another pic after it opens up.Nice slim leaves.

tiG I take the plant out of the pot..and put it in the hole, and then water it like a crazy person all summer,then I dig it all up in Oct......simple actually!LOL

tiG those larger bananas will get cut about half way back and kept cool all winter in the basement.
