I promise I'll have cuttings as soon as I can get them to root. I think I got in a hurry and took them too green for this time of summer.

Wow - is it sort of orange?? I thought it was a rose color.

Cala, she is so pretty. I can't wait for mine to bloom. Kyle is going to grow it on during the winter in the greenhouse at work. It should be a beaut by spring. I'm getting anxious........Culebra should open a bloom tomorrow. She is a sick looking plant though. Also, my HG has dropped one of the big buds and it looks like the peduncle is turning yellow on the biggest bud, so I expect to find it on the ground in the morning. It has just been so hot here and we still have two more days of it to go through. Crossing my fingers on both plants.

Brugie, my HG lost it's buds too, but I see more coming along. The darned cats are eating everything. I think the moth must lay the eggs in the bud, the cat grows and the bud falls off. I tear them open to find ugly worms and worm poo inside the bud.

me too, isn't there something that will take care of it??? I dont' find them in time.

Redrose, there is a big long line for this one. It will take me forever to get caught up. I probably should root one for an extra. That's what I would have done earlier if I'd had a brain that worked!!

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

not many of us have that one yet, it's still very rare over here.

Kentwood, LA(Zone 8b)

Cala that is the prettiest one that I have ever seen. I am crossing my fingers that all of the cuttings root. Next year maybe I can get a cutting from someone. That is really a beautiful flower and I am so happy for you.

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Beautiful!!!! Best of luck with the rooting.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Cala, if you have a flore plena, pollinate it with L'Amour.
