Anyone have seed for any of the tower echiums???

Are you looking for echium pininanna, the really tall blue ones? I have seeds for those.

Hi brugcrazy, I managed to get one to grow and flower this yaer, bit I'm blowed if I can find the seeds! Are they big or small? all the leaves and bits are starting to fall off now, so they must be ripe, somewhere!I'd be pleased of any advice, from a very frustrated gardener :-)

Sueone, the seeds are tiny, black and inside the little blue flowers on the big tall stalk. They take a while to get them out. Cut the flower stalk down and bring it in to dry and you'll find the seeds. good luck

Hi brug, many thanks for that advice, not too sure how I'll cut the stalk down and bring it in, as you can see from the photo it is slightly on the large size!!Perhaps I'll see if I can find a very large paper bag to put over it :-)
