turning into a good bloomer. not a classic or anything but i like it a lot.
pink floyd
Suits me, I like it just fine, pretty one.
Very pretty Arlene and it looks like it is a heavy bloomer.
Pink Floyd sure has a nice soft color. Do the blooms hold up in your heat? It has been so hot here the last couple of days that my pinks have all kinda melted during the day.
i'm gonna move it next year, it really had true candida leaves until i put it in full sun. it's doing better now at holding them. gonna put it in 1/2 sun next year. it puts the flowers close together, i like that too.
Hey Arlene, Pink Floyd is George's favorite group and he wants to know if he can trade some computer tid bits for one since he doesn't have any flowers, LOL
Saving one for you!
Arlene . . I really like this one and the flowers close together make it extra pretty. What does Daddy Floyd think of it???
That's a nice one Arlene. Is it one of your hybrids?
Very pretty. BTW, a package is on it's way to you.
JT, it's one of eric's seedlings from last year. i thought it was candida double white looking at the leaves, lost label. it's really growing on me.
brugnanny, he hasn't seen it.
Very pretty color Arlene. Nice and soft.
It sure is pretty - is this the one you were calling candida pink? Having a senior moment here.

Arlene, it looks like htis brug has jumped your garden oasis.........a mind of its own!! Very pretty!
Very cool Arlene
Love it Arlene! I love the name too :)
okay, this is the one you sent me as C. pink, right?? did you ever name 'Aurea white - Not' ??? I have to get out there and change those things.
Liz, yes it is. actually it is a candida that is pink. tig, i haven't named aurea white NOT.
i'm just happy that it's a good bloomer. it's been an off year somehow, hopefully they'll have a couple more months to bloom. the dog fennels are budding up, think we'll have an early frost here this year.
What is "Dog Fennel"? I've heard others talk about that.
I had to google it.
Thanks TiG, why didn't I think of that? I spend almost as much time there as I do at DG.
OK, I know what it looks like. We don't have any, but remember that unknown plant from my customer? It sure does look the same. One question though, the site said it "smells foul" and that didn't have an odor.
Cala, it looks like standing cypress when young. i usually see it while in the car, mowing has elmininted from our place. it doesn't have much of a flower, can grow into huge stands if not mowed. when it blooms it's supposed to be 6 weeks to frost. we were lucky last year, no hard frost til the week of christmas.
I'll hope for you then that it doesn't bloom till Thanksgiving!!
AMEN to that!!!
this is really a funky brug, most appropriately named i think.
do you have a close up of this? I don't think I ever got anything on it, and would love to add.....
i'll have to look. was it blooming when you were here?
I don't think so.
All of the new pink brugs have made me change my mind on what I like best. Pinks are definitely running in first place now. Very pretty brug Arlene.
It tis a beauty! All these bumps are sure brightening up the day!
It sure is Arlene. I'd keep it.
Its a beauty. Thats my opinion.
Monika, thank you from Eric, i am sure he would be honored to hear you say so!
