Rosabelle in Mme Blins garden

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Rosabelle in her full beauty. Thats the natural color. The pink doesnt turn deeper.

The leaves are large, often serrated and very glossy.

Another beauty! Was it in full bloom for all your guests last weekend?

High Desert, CA(Zone 8a)

Good morning Monika,

WOW!!! are they really as big as i see them on the screen? are they very fragrant too Monika?

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

They are very fragrant, Rose. At the moment, I dont have Rosabelle. My old shrub went to Italy and the new plant from a retailer turned out to be sick. I get new (and healthy) stock this year from Mme Blin.

WAAAAAAAH!! Monika, that is wonderful! hopefully when we have been at it as long as you, and worked as hard as you, we won't be lusting after yours. right ms kell? i am a bit in awe, thanks for sharing so kindly with us.

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Chipley, FL(Zone 8a)

Oh my goodness. I say it once again, you have the most beautiful flowers.

Absolutely gorgeous Monika.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

Well the sad truth be told Ms. Arlene! I will never work as hard or as long as Monika has as far as brugs are concerned so I will always be in lust! And in the limited time I have to garden, I can't even grow my datura weeds!! Yes, I am a sad sac this morning............... even this picture did not brighten my outlook.

Newnan, GA(Zone 8a)

what's wrong kell??

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I hope the family is OK Kell.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Its Rothkirch x x candida Ocre and belongs to the famous R - family.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

She is a beauty.......

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

Wow! That is beautiful and so many blooms.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

I now have a goal - I NEED all the R plants. And they're all pink, right?? I love pink.

FSH, TX

As far as I know they are all pink and all Rothkirch x Ocre. With such diversity from a single cross as well. I will still have to admit I would love to see some of the "R" hybrids crossed back to Rothkirch to. R" x Rothkirch and Rothkirch x "R...both ways of course. The goal being of course to get a hybrid darker red and more prolific in its blooms and frequency of blooms...heck...a first year bloomer from seed with substantial substance as well...Then to convert it to a tetraploid....

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Sounds great, wonderful, even, but you lost me at the tetraploid???
