Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

This is one I had bought from a nursery this summer just marked Brugmansia. Is this Versi. Peach?

Could be, either that or Versi Orange. I'll let one of the experts answer. I still can't tell Frosty from Isabella!!

I bought one that looked like that and then the next week it was blooming frosty pink blooms!! I love that color. Is Versi peach lighter orange than Versi orange?

(Zone 6a)

It looks just like my Versicolor Peach that is blooming again right now. Mine is white colored the first day, and then becomes this peachy color for the duration.

My versi. peach is lighter than this one. This looks like my Versi. orange. Not trying to cause trouble here, but look at how dark the bloom is in the background. That is darker than any of my versi. orange blooms have ever been. Is that one on the same plant? I can say one thing for sure, it is very pretty. You have a nice plant there.

Whatever it is . . it is very pretty.

Shirley, they are all on the same plant. They start out white and start turning peachy color and then darken up. The darkest ones are abut 3-4 days old, one right up front is 2 days and one in back was just opening. There is also one just to the right barely peaking out from the leaf. Lots more coming.

I went back and compared a couple of my pictures and my best guess is that its V. Orange. I've been wrong lots of times before and this is just a guess. I find that when the temps get cooler, it gets darker too. Mine will open tomorrow ( V. Orange ) so when it darkens up a bit, I'll try to remember to get a picture and post it. Think V. Peach is about ready to bloom too. It is from Glory and a very nice plant. Great shape and next year it will go into a pot so I can put it on the deck to admire.

Brugie, I agree with you. I didnt notice the dark blooms the first time I looked.
BTW, don't let Esmerelda close to that brug, everything she touches turns Pepto Pink, lol.

Man, you wouldn't want this beauty to turn pink. Just get an Ecuador Pink for that. :-)

True Brugie and Cala, this one is too pretty a color! And I love the girley girl shape.

Do you want some Kell when it gets done blooming? Then we would see if you really have the "Pepto Pink" touch!
