Looks like the one Monika posted ,and its gorgeous! I killed mine from Hodniks this spring, never got to see it bloom.....

Lima, OH(Zone 5a)

Monika's is deeper, looked at LBJ's and Gommer's both paler pink, like your's Liz, beautiful anyway!!!

Newberry, FL(Zone 8B)

Monika's seems to hang straighter down, i like it sticking out to the side like that.

I just looked at hers again - it looks like the calyx is bent at the top.

Angleton, TX(Zone 9a)

Very pretty Liz. I also like the way it angles out.

Milton, FL(Zone 8a)

Mine also came from Hodnik's.It has buds so maybe I can post a pic soon.Maybe it's tag changing time again.

Woodsville, NH(Zone 4a)

It's a beautiful flower Liz.

Chariton, IA(Zone 5b)

Nice flower. Hope you have tons more of them.

Grass Lake, MI(Zone 5a)

That is so pretty. Love the color.

Herbstein, Germany(Zone 5a)

Liz, I would say, it is Rosabelle. The bend in the calyx and the upward pointing flower stem is typical for Rosabelle. Larger flowers are heavier and you see the bend in the calyx better, like in my picture.

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

What zone are you in Liz? Will you have to move these into your GH for the winter?

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

8b Kell. I'm afraid so, they all come in.
Today I crossed Rosalie to Rosabelle and the other way around. Was that a waste of good pollen?

San Leandro, CA(Zone 9b)

You are asking me?? LOL!!! Why are you up so late Miss Lizzie?

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Somebody has to keep you company occasionally as you prowl the darkened halls of daves in the middle of the night.

FSH, TX

Liz sounds good to me for sure. I wouldn't consider any cross with heavy rothkirch genes to be a waste of time.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Thanks Eric - because I don't plan on making a lot of crosses this year they have to be worth the effort.

(Zone 6a)

I love that color:)

FSH, TX

If that were the only cross you made and grew I'd have to say I'd be happy to see the fruits of your labor.

North Vancouver, BC(Zone 8b)

Cool - I owe you big time so if all goes well do you want to help me grow some out?
